About Ecuador

Ecuador is situated in South America, and is bordered by Columbia and Peru.  It offers an amazing variety of cultural and physical diversity including the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific Ocean.  Ecuador’s largest city is Guayaquil, located on the coast.  The capital city Quito is located 2850m (about 9350 ft) above sea level, and offers a mild climate throughout the year.  The official language is Spanish.
