Hope for a better life

Each day different children arrive for surgery but all with the parents wishing for a better life for their children.  Many tears are shed amongst all parents, relatives, the children and the FOT team. Most tears are of  joy and hope and gratefulness. I am very grateful and honored to be here in Quito working with such a fantastic team.   Warm regards, Joan Wescott

His mother told us that she had 6 children and her husband had passed away. She was very poor and having Oscar’s palate repaired was never an option.
