Brooke Rubinstein spent most of her childhood watching her father, Dr. Brian Rubinstein, go on medical missions. In fact, she was only 8 years old when he founded Faces of Tomorrow. Ten years after its inception Brooke was inspired to make her own mark by dedicating her Girl Scout Gold Project to FOT.
The goal of her project was to make enough blankets in order for each patient on a mission to receive one. This way each child would have a blanket to be used during surgery and also comfort them during recovery. Not only has Dr. Rubinstein inspired the next generation, Brooke is inspiring the younger Girl Scouts who helped with this project.
